So when did you start seeing your results from the workout program. Weather it's by strength, muscle gain, or cut (v-shape) appearance.
A little about myself, will keep you updated with my program every four weeks hopefully.
I just start currently doing the StrongLifts 5x5 workout program and currently on week #2 for the experienced version. I have been working out on and off for the past two years but I haven't worked out for the past 6 months before starting this program though.
I currently weight 179lbs, male and 30 years old. I do not know my body fat, but if I had to guess, it'd be 22%. Will be getting the body fat percentage done at the gym by the end of this week.
My current goal is to get down to 155-160lb and 10% body fat. Currently I use myfitnesspal app to calculate amount of calories I need to intake to get to my desired weight, with an average weight loss of 2lbs/week. The calories it is recommending is 1300, which I think is low, but I have been abiding by it anyways.
I live alone, so my meals and days are simple.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday Workout at 6am (with Stronglift 5x5 workout program) and also add High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on sit-down bicycle for 6 minutes (2 minute HIIT, 1 Minute Rest 2 minute HITT, 1 minute rest) 7am - Protein Shake 10 am - Banana, apple, peach, or plum 1pm - Pastrami Sandwich 4pm - Banana, apple, peach, or plum 7pm - honey bunch of oats (might cut this out to not intake any sugar, and replace it with peanut butter sandwich)
Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturday Workout at 6am: Pull-ups (3 sets to fail) , Push-ups (3 sets to fail), Dips (3 sets to fail), 10 minutes on elliptical trainer, and 10 mins in sauna with stretching. 7am - Protein Shake 10 am - Banana, apple, peach, or plum 1pm - Pastrami Sandwich 4pm - Banana, apple, peach, or plum 7pm - honey bunch of oats (might cut this out to not intake any sugar, and replace it with peanut butter sandwich)
Saturday and Sunday I usually have my cheat date, but still do not exceed more than 1500 calorie intake. It's usually cheese pizza with the girlfriend or some sort of burgers.
