DOMS and Sport Perfomance

I've been doing Stronglifts for the last 3 weeks and I'm loving almost everything about it, apart from the DOMS when it comes to game day. I train at the gym Monday, Wednesday and Friday and play Football (Soccer) on Sunday, what would you recommend I do? Drop a certain weight percentage or drop squats completely from my Friday workout?
