Pre workout for weightloss?

So... I'm a fatty that has been doing cardio for a couple months and have decided to start some lifting. I plan of getting started with SL because I have little (no) lifting experience. I'm not looking to bulk, but build strength, and ultimately, lose weight. My question is, should I be taking any sort of pre workout if I'm not looking to bulk?
