Failing reps first week

So I have completed two days on SL so far and haven't been able to complete the OHP (5 4 3 3 2) and didn't even come close on the deadlift. I am doing okay on the squats but getting the form right is still tricky because my knees cross my toes when I am about to break parallel. I usually go with a friend who helps me immensely with form check, but I was wondering if you guys had anything specific I should do.
