Not sure if this is normal or not, after 12 days of no carbs to kick my body into ketosis, the test strip showed a strong purple color and was obviously in ketosis.
So I went into 2 days carb load before starting the 5 days and 2 days carb cycle. Today is the 2nd carb load day and the test strip showed no ketones?
Is it just inaccurate or its normal?
also, this is my 3rd week of SL5x5, I don't feel like I'm too tired during workouts (in fact very energetic) during the last 5 days after adjusting to ketosis, should I keep the carb loads or scrape them until I'm challenged and more near my actual PR's?
PS. I quit the gym for about 2 years after hitting 170kg DL, 160kg Squats at 80kg BW/10% BF so I've been through this before but first time using ketostix.
